Each song, a unification of musical styles nostalgic to his childhood.

Brooklyn native Scott G. L. Midgett better known as DJ Young Lord Scotty has been DJing and event hosting in the Greater Chicagoland Area for nearly five years. In aims to cultivate a clean style, Scotty fuses together sounds and techniques representative of both New York and Chicago mixing culture. In doing so Scotty’s sets heavily blend populous Afro-Caribbean sounds with contemporary hip-hop joints.

MUSICIAN
Blake St. David, an artist of many intricacies— approaches rap with a new, fresh POV. His tracks are playful, gritty, and buoyant—a sound truly unbound to genre. The Chicago native combines elements of hip-hop, contemporary RnB, and ambient pop. Drawing inspiration from artist such as Bo Burnham, Kyle and Childish Gambino, Blake St. David unifies soul and electronic sounds.
RAPPER
Bronzeville native nombreKARI, has spent the last 5 years pioneering a new sound for underground Chicago-based music artists. Pulling inspiration from all forms of expressionism, nombreKari’s work explores various sounds, structures and genres. This multi- faceted approach has allowed him to create an authentic form of artistry.
DESIGNER
Especial thinker, innovator and designer Ryel Williams has spent the past two years working on an original and meaningful design project. The young creative first dropped pieces from his solo project, Lonely Days back in August of 2018. Pieces included tees and long sleeves that read “I’m sorry I just wanted to be loved” and “Lonely days are needed.” The skeleton print designed tees were produced in a variety of styles and colors all hand sketched and created for comfortability.
